We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to STEM education through scuba diving and bringing our unique youth camp programs to communities nationwide.

Dive Into Space Youth Camps offers a variety of customizable programs for young people, all built around the foundation of scuba diving. Inspired by the NASA Neutral Buoyancy Lab, our camps uniquely blend STEM education with the exciting world of underwater exploration.
Dive Into Space Youth Camps is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit organization funded through local, state, and federal grants. While we don't actively solicit donations, they are gratefully accepted.

- Health and Safety Information: To ensure the safety of our participants during SCUBA and confined-water activities, we collect medical history questionnaires, SEI Liability Waivers, and emergency contact details. This information is strictly required for participation and safety assessments.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following operational and safety purposes:
- Program Execution: To process registrations, enroll campers in the appropriate age/skill tier, and process payments.
- Safety & Compliance: To evaluate camper medical questionnaires to ensure they meet the physical requirements for SCUBA and microgravity simulation activities, and to maintain our SEI instructor-to-student ratios safely.
- Communication: To send parents/guardians booking confirmations, pre-camp instructions, schedule updates, and emergency notifications.
- Website Improvement: To analyze website traffic and improve our online user experience.
3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 online. All registrations, medical waivers, and informational submissions must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.

- Camp Staff & Instructors: Relevant medical and emergency contact information is shared securely with our active SEI Instructors, Divemasters, and camp counselors solely to ensure the safety and well-being of the camper during water activities.
- Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, or sending email communications. These vendors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal & Emergency Requirements: We will disclose information if required by law, court order, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the physical safety of a camper, our staff, or the public.

We implement appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security measures to protect your personal information. Sensitive data, particularly medical questionnaires and liability waivers, are stored securely with restricted access limited only to essential camp personnel. Payment transactions are encrypted and processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways.

- Request that we update, correct, or delete this information.
- Withdraw your child from the program and request the destruction of their medical/registration records (subject to minimum legal retention periods for liability waivers).
